Charlotte got her first haircut on Christmas Eve! Her hair grows straight down from the crown of her head toward her face, and it was really starting to hang in her eyes. She's also of an age where she does not cooperate frequently with wearing barettes or bows to keep the hair off to the side, so I decided it was time to cut her some bangs.
I pretty much instantly regretted cutting her hair myself, as I definitely went in too high and she looked pretty goofy for a few weeks. (So sorry, kiddo.) She did sit very still for the haircut as we put on some Peppa Pig on the iPad for her to watch. We did save a couple of locks of hair for memory. It's funny to think that the very tips of her hair are the same as the little fuzz she had when she was born (and for the first year, for that matter :) ).
