Castle Rising Castle & the North Sea

During the Hennekes' visit, the other day trip we took was toward the east coast. I decided to get a few things done at home (and take a mom's day off!) while Paul took everyone else for the 1.5 hour drive toward the North Sea. They went to the town of Castle Rising, which has the ruins of a Castle named... Castle Rising Castle. I don't know the history of the place, but Paul got some neat pictures. Afterwards, they headed to the nearby coast, but were surprised to see the tide was WAY out... leaving mostly mud. Charlotte, our resident Peppa Pig aficionado, was thrilled to get the opportunity for more stomping in a really, really big muddy puddle :)

STOMP!
